Question: I had an astral travel experience where I seemed to cut my “silver cord”. Is this possible? 

At death the chord is not cut but it is reabsorbed back into a greater being a more expanded version of yourself which we will call your astral keeper, or overseer. Many have experienced the “overseer”as a spirit guide or guardian angel. It is a form of you and you are inconstant communication through the cord. Although attached at the solar plexus, it  is not an umbilical cord - it is what it is: a tubular energy/information exchange channel.

You might think it should be attached at the top of the head. This is true, there are many cords emanating from the body all having a purpose of distributing energy and information. You are fed Spirit energy through these and you communicate with Spirit. To simplify, each chakra has a cord, or system of cords that feed energy and information to the physical body and subtle bodies that surround and permeate the physical form. Notice we do not say body, we say form. The body would be a form first - a form that presents as a body. You might also imagine a balloon with a straw keeping the pressure  regulated. But still, this is only an analogy and not to be taken too literally.

Chords cannot be cut. But it is like cutting water. It simply reforms. For an instant it might appear to be incised, but the duration is very short. It is a flow and not an object. It is not made of a solid. It can appear solid because of its charge but we would need to refer to astral physics which our channel has not yet passed novice stage.

At death the chords are retracted and the energy returns to the Greater Soul which created you. What you have read as NDE are simply the process of absorption. If it is necessary to create another YOU that lives in an environment similar to the one you left then that will happen. It is a difficult concept since it requires a double existence where person does not recognize the oversoul but the oversoul, as always, is completely aware of the person.

When a being leaves the physical meat body a number of different things can happen (we will not cover all of them.) There might be an immediate absorption into the Greater Soul or the Essence as we like to call it. The YOU stay intact but merges with the Greater Soul retaining its identity but experiencing itself as the Greater Soul. Others might linger in what is popularly called the Lower Astral. They may not know they have departed the meat body, and things may feel different, but they believe they are still alive and maybe not so well on planet earth. They inhabit various lower regions of the astral. You have been there already and it is part of the passage thru to other astral regions.

It is important not to put a value judgement on Low. There is High and Low and this only represent what type of vibration can occur through its medium. Low and High have different attraction mediums. Water is also a good analogy. Low is at the bottom of the lake, high is where the light penetrates the water. Then there is the Middle Astral - and on and on.

Density is also another analogy, but there is no real density as you experience it in the physical.
Thought forms are also filtered. Thus all sorts of thought forms are in the lower, but only the ones that resonate with the higher levels can rise. So, if a being is full of violent thought forms, they have to be purged. It is because they cannot rise. They are not harmonious with higher levels. It is why they call them Fallen Angels. They developed though forms which brought them to a lower density. The higher astral would not support them. It’s very mechanical. That is, you cannot put a heavy weight on a platform that will not support it.

We know this is a long answer to a simple question. In your case you did not cut your cord because they cannot be cut. However there are many other cords. You have cords to friends, family, pets. Everybody runs them. When a relationship because complete, or is toxic, cords should be dissolved. It feels like you had a altercation with a friend; he or she was giving you emotional harm. It was ‘time to cut the cord’ so to speak so you would end the relationship. You might say, “well, I broke up” but your energy bodies do not break up. They maintain links until they can be dissolved. The cords are important and tend to be stronger in women. Women tend to do more emotional work.

This relationship could have been some time ago. It does not need to be recent. You may think you are over it. But if you spend time remembering and recreating the details you are still corded. 

Cording is also called bonding. Bonds are more difficult to dissolve. They have a purpose, such as the mother/child bond and there are many others. Bonds need to carry into future lifetimes while the cord is simply the connection.

For the case of all fragments in human form, there are guides who are helping at the next level of dimension, what you call the astral plane. Some are a wee bit immature and will become too absorbed in the excitement of the game, however, as incarnations accumulate, the matching of guide and incarnation becomes better until, during final incarnations, the two are almost seamless.




Guides feel themselves to be very equal to their incarnates. They take their job very seriously and will honor requests from the incarnate. If the incarnate desires to be left alone the the guide will do so albeit reluctantly. Guides will not tell you what to do but they well carefully attend to helping you with small details. These little details, the small breaths, the short bursts of awareness, the seconds between moments, are where the guides operate. The help you influence the smallest of details. This helps you with what we have called perfect placement - or simply, being in the right place at the right time.




What are are recommending to you here, it to let go of the idea that it is necessary to make broad requests of spirit. You are being guided. You can make your request certainly, however the results are never laid out in the open. As we said, they are hiding in between the details. In your case, you have been making your requests and they are being honored. We suggest that you go about your daily routine with a sense of perfect placement. This will at least help you feel more in tune with those spirit elements that just seem to be so distant at times. You certainly have not asked them to go away, you are only wondering where the heck are they.




Now, if you desire to please spirit, you can simply offer everything you are to spirit. Spirit does not differentiate between good and bad activities. Once act does not please spirit over some other act. In some ways you are being devoured by your own essence, however this is a place where we will go some other time. Spirit much prefers, that is if you can say that spirit prefers anything, that you maintain your awareness or pay attention. This improves the currents of energy that connect you to spirit and through the guidance system you will tend to not stub you toes on the game board.

MichaelQuestion: Lately I have been obsessed with France, even to the point of learning French. Can M. help me understand what is happening?

Well then, you seem to have had a past life lovers dilemma. Not a spat, but a dilemma. You were in a position where you had to move in a direction and she wanted to stay in one place. Its a Fork relationship where you have no choice. For example, lets say you are a committed catholic and you are charged with a duty to the church that will take on a Crusade. You must leave your life behind. Your spouse on the other had does not share your conviction and feels that you are abandoning her. This is not a 'leave me for another' but 'leave me for a cause.' The difference is that you feel there is no choice and she feels that you have a choice and the choice is not her. It attacks survival - her survival. You are in a way committing murder by leaving her for a cause. What Cause is more important than her well being? 

We leave love out of this. It is not Romantic. It is pure survival: “I will die if you do not care for me”. It is also what is called a monad. That is, one of 24 or so Karmic patterns within human relationships. For example, Parent Child, Lovers, and Murderer victim. There are more, Prisoner Guard, Hangman Hanged, Master Slave, Master Apprentice, Teacher Student. We will say that you know most of them already and HAVE EXPERIENCED ALL OF THEM MANY TIMES.

The Karma can be very powerful and will echo into other lifetimes. The one you refer to has two lifetimes for you. The first in the Crusades and we described above. The second in Paris when you were part of the resitance. Its is the same. BUT IT IS MORE ABOUT ADVENTURE THAN DUTY.

The woman in both lifetimes was your ex wife. Notice how she took your guns. Both in reality and proverbially. Payback. Think about the events that led to the separation. That is part of the pattern.

There is a pure form of an event and then there is what details fill it. The details always change but the outline of the sequence stays the same. It is the same story but repeated with new props. It is why so many movies are the same story, but different characters.

It seems that these stories still CHASE you in dream time. What chases most people are manifestations of guilt. In Dream Time Guilt WILL REAR ITS UGLY HEAD.

You have also been given a reminder that it would be helpful to your personal growth to take care of your business. You cannot go to your ex-wife with this because she will not understand. She is younger than you in lifetimes and unwilling to hear such stuff. She will not close her mind because her mind is closed. You close your door to keep out vermin, cold air and thieves. All which will upset her present equilibrium. She is free of the Karma however SINCE YOU CREATED THE DECISION TREE YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSCIOUSLY REVIEWING AND NUETRALIZING THE KARMA. (Ha Ha Ha) She has the pass as she was the one who considers herself the victim (her creation)

You created the Karma, she fell into it. You need to consider her forgiven. If the subject comes up then say to yourself that you have already forgiven her. So much is simply mechanical - Physical Plane Reactivity.

The purpose of the relationship was always for her to take your weapons. That way you would impotent and could support her at home instead of getting yourself killed which angered her because she had to find a way to support herself. It was not a love attraction but a duty attraction. Not a HEARTLINK relationship. You felt betrayal rather than loss in your present breakup.

But why now? Mind altering substances open mind doors. This is a fact. If you want to accelerate spiritual growth you can take mind altering substance. However there is a powerful negative pull these drugs. One one hand they open the doors of perception, and on the other they are never quite satsifying. That is, you chase a Dragon. And open door need to be closed again to function well in a closed door (mental) culture. The belief systems need to be protected because they have a will to survive. They use human mind as their niche.

You open doors, you have strong impulses to explore, you are curious, so expect to be greeting your wounds from past lives. They would come anyway but with less obvious intensity.

Q. I am working through internal conflicts with personal relationships and my spiritual path. What insight can Michael provide? (D.O. -third level mature artisan, power mode,  goal of submission, a realist in the intellectual part of emotional center, chief feature of stubborness.  Position 28 --2nd entity, 1st Cadre)

It appears that you are one who has learned in both this life and past lives that there are rewards for obedience. In your case you have chosen submission simply to reinforce your point of view. Remember, it is only a point of view and they are only as valid as you wish or CHOOSE to make it. This is the basis of any belief system. You create it and choose to perpetuate it.

This now has taken you to a place where you are looking for approval from a place beyond the physical. This is quite common however. Most religious followers are asking for approval from their chosen deity. We find it all too common and perhaps, from our point of view, this is a detriment or at least an impediment to the learning experience. Once is enough already - however that is our opinion coming from our place of understanding. We understand that the needs of the physical plane are different than the "needs" coming from other dimensions. However, we must say we find the fixation amusing if it weren't, in too many cases, harmful.

Since you are harming no one, we will find it amusing in your case, so you must please excuse us. Basically, the formula, if you could call it a formula, is that God, or the Tao, is simply pleased and no one need perform any acts of any kind to please the Tao. The difference is, if you desire, you can share in the pleasure of the Tao, which is, in the case of old souls, a more common realization.

We will say that part of the human, earth life, sentient, learning system is problem solving. A fragment in human form, will get himself into trouble and find a way out of it. This is somewhat of a maze game except played at a high level of difficulty. Great pain and suffering, along with resultant karma or penalty points, surround any given path in the game. You are given no instruction and are forced on to the gaming field without even the understanding that it is a game. The game nature is more clear after about 200 incarnations on average, but even then, it is only a fleeting realization at times

Q. Lately I have been feeling very deep grief. Can you help shed some light on this grief?

To some degree by retreating into the most "mundane" for art you are not ready to see what it is your more spiritual side wants to show you through your art. We would suggest that you spend some time going into a new direction with your imagery and allowing anything to come forth. A good time to begin would be during one of your darker moments, and by doing so this could shed some light in the darkness, no matter how horrific an image your mind can bring forth.

As souls progress through incarnations the begin to realize that it is not horror and viciousness of what can be on earth but the fear that surrounds the objects. You cannot heal a wounded soul with fear. That soul may be repulsive in all ways, but you cannot heal with fear. Older souls learn an objectivity that can bring a detachment that brings a non attachment. The non attachment allows the being to see all that is for what it is rather than being repulsed by the fear factor.

We will not go as far as to say that all is beautiful when seen through eyes of non attachment. The beauty simply is the understanding that everything simply is what it is and all things have a right to be.

You are feeling the extreme emotional imbalance that is occurring globally on the planet. The intellect has been so busy creating devious lies that it is becoming more and more difficult for the emotional center to feel the truth. The emotional center is a better sensor of what is true. The intellect may be better at defining truth once it is perceived, but the perception of truth comes through the emotional center. If you feel you are being lied to often and you are unable to express it then most likely your emotional center is trapped. You seek answers to be clearly defined but none are. Thus your emotional center, like the emotional center of many beings and no way to reciprocate. It has no mirror to examine itself. Again, turning to visual art will be a means for you to articulate your feelings to yourself. You may not like what you feel, but non attachment has nothing to do with what your like or dislike. Non attachment accepts all for what it is and lets it go.

The energy of war is very strong and messages are confusing. People feel the energy of suffering and are told that it is justified. However suffering is what it is and never calls for justification. If you are wounded there is no justification for your pain that will ease the pain. An apology does not grow a limb. This energy is something that everyone needs to move through in various ways. Some go to war, others cheer the warriors on, some condemn those that desire peace, others hold a candle, then there are those who say nothing because nothing left can be said. It becomes feeling.

Moving into the higher emotional center is the way out of the trap. For you this will require the assistance of an energy of what is popularly called the Christ consciousness. This could be in the form of the man Jesus, or it could be an angel, or it could be a human symbol that holds the energy for you. Remember that these are symbols and the energy itself is non symbolic. Thus the symbol, and the man Jesus is a symbol as well, is used as a gateway for the energy. The energy has no voice nor image, it simply is. Using a symbol will help you channel the energy and help you heal. Remember, the symbol is not the energy but the symbol is necessary to allow the energy to awaken in you. It is always in you, it is not something that it outside of you; THE SYMBOL AWAKENS YOU TO THE ENERGY. You will find this energy very helpful. If 20 people awaken the energy at once then there occurs a powerful synergy that multiplies the energy and opens it in others. The world grows closer to a nuclear battle given the karma of he who has the power of the bomb, but this energy, because of the synergy, can calm that spirit into an acceptance of truth, something he admits he has no use for.

There is an ongoing battle between the truth and deception. Truth will win. Truth always wins because truth is reality. Deception is not real and can only live as long as someone perpetuates it. We ask you then to perpetuate the love of truth.
